TMHarvester is a subproject of tm4j which enables you to generate topicmaps from various datasources, like a collection of documents, mp3 repositories, databases etc..
The Harvester uses a template-driven approach that enables you to divide your topicmaps (and the generation process) in several logical building blocks.
The Harvesting process is fully controlled by a modelfile, which may be processed as often as you like. Therefore the harvester enables you to generate topicmaps periodically from frequently changing datasources, like newsfeeds etc...
For a more detailed description of TMHarvest see the documentation. At the time of writing, a developemt release is available via tm4j's download page at sourceforge.
See the document about Harvesting in TMNav for information how to retrieve a topicmap from a harvesting process in TMNav.
